November 2022 Xanmod-edge ceased to exist
We have changed all references to Xanmod but ofcourse not in the videos
See which files matter if you want to change from a linux kernel to a linux-xanmod-edge kernel.
We created an additional Calamares configuration fox Xanmod-Edge but we decided to put broadcom-wl and not broadcom-wl-dkms on our system. Hence the linux kernel stayed because of the dependency to broadcom-wl.
We fixed that afterwards.
After the video we added also alci-calamares-config-xanmod-edge-git to the Calamares config in packages so it would not stay on the future system.
Analyze what we did with gitahead and meld.
My own build of Xanmod Edge kernel did not work.
We rely on the build/package of the chaotics team.
